During this first semester of my Masters of Fine Art at the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University I will use this time as an opportunity to explore both medium and subject. I have been encouraged to view my work or practice as separate components, gallery work and research for my MFA. This is the perfect time for exploration and experimentation.

These paintings are mixed media works on paper. I am very interested in a creating a symbol of visual communication around the idea of environmental sustainability, time and connectedness.  For me the image of the tree represents both family and sustainability. Interesting fact, currently there are 63 trees per person on  the earth. This series of studio work is called Sixty Three Trees.
